Having dipped their toe into the whirlpool that is the UCD AFC Superleague, through sponsorship of the Superleague Cup, Bank of Ireland have decided to extend their sponsorship across the entire league. The Superleague will now become known as the Bank of Ireland Superleague.

Speaking at the launch of this exciting new sponsorship, League Director Diarmuid McNally, expressed his delight, "Bank of Ireland is a perfect partner for the league given their extensive association with Student sports and their track record when it comes to Student banking. You will struggle to find a more competitive league anywhere that compares to the Bank of Ireland Superleague. For over 20 years, week in week out, blood, sweat and tears have been spilt in the name of Superleague points. No other league covers the extensive level of players this league caters for. You could be the best player in the world or the worst, but one thing is for sure there is a place for you at the Superleague table."

The first captain's meeting takes place tonight at 6pm in the Red Room of the UCD Students Centre. If you have not registered your team you can do so at this meeting. If you have not managed to organise a team but would like to play, come along to the meeting and you will be allocated to a team.
