UCD lost to IT Tallaght in the lastest round of fixtures in the Colelges and Universities League.
UCD AFC fell to their second defeat in the Colleges and Unniversities League following a narrow 2-1 defeat to Tallaght IT. The game was played in extremely poor conditions with both sides having to deal with pouring rain and a strong wind.
UCD took tried to impress their attacking football on the game but the conditions made this extremely difficult with passing moves breaking down often. UCD did manage to grab the lead through an own goal. Tyrone McNelis swung a corner into the box and the unfortunate Tallaght defender deflected it past his own keeper.
UCD looked to close the game out but were hit with two quick fire goals that cost them the three points, a series of mistakes lead to Kelly being rounded in the UCD goal for the first goal. Not long later a long range effort flew pas the UCD keeper to leave the Belfield Students with nothing.
