Collee and UCD AFC Visit Mt Merrion's Academy

Collee, Martin Russell and Members of UCD AFC's First Team Squad made the trip to Mt Merrion.IMG_1361

IMG_0859With the sun blazing down on the boys and girls of Mt Merrion's football academy it was time for them to be rewarded for allIMG_1376 their hard work during the year with a visit from their local Airtrcity League Club. The bond between UCD AFC and Mt Merion becomes stronger every year and UCD AFC's squad received a wonderful welcome from all the coaches and especially the players.

Mt Merrion's Academy runs throughout the year and came to a close last Saturday as Mt Merrion's talented coaches put the children through their paces for the final time this season. Ger Barron, Gary Burke, Tomas Boyle, Graham Rusk, Dean Clarke, Jame Kavanagh and Martin Russell were on hand to meet the children and show off their skills.

Collee again received a wonderful welcome and he can't wait to come back and see the new set of children taking part in Mt Merrion's wonderful Academy programme.
