Mount Merrion Youth Football Club are UCD's link to Schoolboy football. UCD joined forces with Mount Merrion in recent years to work closely to promote the development of soccer in the local area.
This agreement offers the players of Mount Merrion Youth Football Club the opportunity to sample the quality of coaching at UCD and also enjoy some of the facilities on offer to UCD's players.
In recent years there has been a large number of Mt Merrion players on all UCD's teams, including the First Team. UCD's current First Team Captain is Evan McMillan, who played his schoolboy football with Mt Merrion.
With each season that passes the link between the two clubs grows stronger and the opportunity is there for more players to follow in Evan's footsteps
