Having joined UCD in 2010 Thomas has been incredibly unfortunate with injuries. Suffering set backs with both of his groins and a issue with his knee. Despite making the squad for recent fixtures against St.Pat’s in the cup it was decide that Thomas would need surgery which he has now under gone.
