Mark McGinley joined UCD as part of the 2009 scholarship intake. While his first team opportunites have been limited due to the presence of Ger Barron. When called upon to take his place between the sticks he has proved himself more than capable. At 6’3 his stature and excellent shot stopping abilities have helped the Student’s defense make a decent start to the 2012 season.
