Iain is a centre midfielder who hails from Goatstown, a stones throw from the UCD Bowl. Iain is a Sixth Year Student in Oatlands College and has played Schoolboy Football for Lakelands, Park Celtic and Belvedere, before joining UCD AFC's Under 19 set up. Goulding takes inspiration from his favourite player Wesley Sneijder and from watching his favourite team Barcelona. The best player he has played against is Ollie Cahill and when it comes to UCD's squad Mick Leahy is the one he looks up to. 

Iain has been involved with UCD for a number of years prior to his formal involvement with the Under 19 squad. Iain trained with UCD during his time on work experience in 4th Year. 

The central midfielder has only to look a class mate James Kavanagh's meteoric rise over the last few months to see what can be acheived here at UCD AFC.
