The news from the treatment room in Belfield is that Greg Bolger may be fit to join the squad to play Bray Wanderers in the Bowl tomorrow night. David McMillan is still a long term absentee and Sean Harding, Brian Shortall and Chris Mulhall still not ready.
“Recent results haven’t gone our way,” comments manager Martin Russell “But there have been positives in defeat. “Ger Barron is back in contention after a frustrating series of injuries and Michael Kelly made an impressive return against Sligo. Recent recruits from the Leinster League squad, Dwayne Wilson and Paul O’Conor are making good progress. We continue to learn from our Premier Division programme and are in a position to provide opportunities for our young players to seize.”
Defender Michael Leahy is also approaching full fitness but may not be ready until the Leinster Cup semi-final, also against Bray Wanderers, next Monday.
