Preview: UCD vs Bohemians

Kick-off: 7.45pm, UCD Bowl, Friday 22nd FebruarySSE-Airtricity-League

Friday night sees the long awaiting return of the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division football to the UCD Bowl. After last season's First Division title winning campaign, this will be the first time since 2014 where we have hosted Premier Division football here at the UCD Bowl. It will also be our first competitive game at the UCD Bowl since the famous night where Conor Davis' goal secured the First Division title last season. Speaking ahead of Friday's game, Collie O'Neill is looking forward to our return, however knows his side will be up against it against a strong Bohemian's side who will be confident of putting a run of good results together after last week's victory against Finn Harps.

"It really is great to be back, and to have Premier Division football here once more!"

"Last week was a tough opener for us, away to a strong Derry City side. It is certainly a step up from last season, but it is a level we are confident we can compete at and prove what we can do. We know Bohemians are going to be up for it. They'd a great win against Finn Harps last week and will be looking to go on an early run of good results."

Collie O'Neill will be missing Evan Osam, Paul Doyle and Conor Davis for Friday night's game against Bohemian FC at the UCD Bowl. Evan Osam has underwent surgery on this ruptured achillies and is likely to miss the majority of the season. Paul Doyle continues his recovery from an ankle injury picked up in our friendly against Shelbourne, however is hopeful of making a return over the coming weeks. Conor Davis is a major doubt for the game after picking up a knee injury in training on Sunday and is likely to miss out.

Injured: Evan Osam (achilles), Paul Doyle (ankle), Conor Davis (knee)
