Quotes from manager Martin Russell:

About this week: “We’ve had a good week with two wins and six valuable points, we go to Sligo knowing that we are facing one of the toughest challenges in the league at the moment.”

About the players: “I’ve been delighted with the application of the players throughout the season, and we have got the results in the previous two games when earlier in the season our good performances didn’t yield points. The wins will boost us ahead of the games ahead.”

About Sligo: “Sligo at home are formidable team at home in front of a big Showgrounds crowd so it will be a tough game but one we are looking forward to.”

About staying up: “I said a good while ago that everybody will finish wehre they deserve to finish, there are plenty of points still to play for and there will be lots of twists and turns between now and the end of the season.”

Paul Corry returns from suspension, still on the treatment table are goalkeeper John Kelly (knee), midfielders Tom O’Halloran (groin) and Chris Mulhall (groin) while strikers Graham Rusk (shin), Cillian Morisson (shin) and Samir Belhout (foot) are all a good bit away from a return to action.”
