UCD AFC suffered a 1-0 defeat for the second consecutive game as they came away from Dalymount Park with no points. Former Student Evan McMillan was the goal scorer as Bohemians recorded a slender win on Sunday afternoon. The defeat leaves UCD bottom of the Premier League 3 points behind Dundalk.

Bohemians started the game on the front foot and pressed UCD back into their own half. Karl Moore was at the heart of the first attack of the match as he looked to torment his former club. Michael Barker broke up the play in midfield and instantly found a pass that sent Karl Moore advancing on the Students defence. Moore cut inside David O'Connor and luckily for UCD unleashed a weak shot at McGinley.

DouglasThe best chance for UCD in the first half fell to Robbie Benson. Benson played a quick one two with Chris Lyons before unleashing a ferocious shot goalwards, goalwards but off target. It was to be UCD's last chance before Bohs took the lead. McGinley was forced to pull off an excellent save that resulted in the concession of a corner.

Ryan McEvoy swung an inviting corner into the box and Evan McMillan rose highest to power a header into the back of the net. McGinley had no chance in the UCD net and he was called into action again just before the end of the half deflecting a thunderous Andy Mulligan shot over the bar.

Hugh Douglas was involved in a UCD corner that nearly saw The Students drag themselves back into the game. His back heel was blocked and Danny Ledwith picked up the loose ball but his shot was wayward after what looked like a clear foul on the edge of the Bohemians box.

Benson was at it again early in the second half unleashing another dangerous strike towards goal but again it was off target and Bohemians set about creating more chances.

UCD took a greater hold of possession but time and again their attacks broke down in the early stages of formation. McGinley needed to be on his toes on twoO_Conor occasions as Dwayne Wilson and then Keith Ward looked to chip the UCD custodian from just outside the UCD box.

Ward was making an impact on the game for the right reason having been introduced as a second half substitute, another sub did not have the same impact as Dave Scully tangled with David O'Connor off the ball and saw the referee flash the red card.

UCD came closest to making their man advantage pay in the dying seconds of the game. A ball into the box was scrambled towards goal first by Paul O'Conor and then Paul Corry but their efforts lacked any real conviction and Bohemians escaped with all three points.
