Dave McMillan is back with UCD AFC!
Guess who's back, back again! Davey's back, tell a friend! David McMillan has returned to UCD AFC
following a spell in Australia with FC Olympic. The 23 year old returns to the Students after a succesful spell that saw him play his part in the 2009l First Division Championship winning team and the team that retained Premier Division status in 2010.
Dave came up through the Leinster Senior League ranks at UCD AFC and has also played his part in several title winning Intervaristy sides, including capturing the Collingwood Cup. Dave followed brother, and former UCD AFC captain Evan, to St Patrick's Athletic at the end of the 2010 Airticity League season.
Looking relaxed in familiar surroundings it was clear that Dave was happy to be back on campus. "I am delighted to be back in Belfield. I know plenty of the lads from before and I am itching to get back playing. I still have time left on my college course and again it is the prefect opportunity to play top level football and study at the same time" McMillan said as he arrived at training with the Students this afternoon.
With McMillan back in the Students fold it adds to Martin Russell's options up front and only time will tell whether McMillan will feature against Bohemians on Sunday, a side that features plenty of UCD AFC alumni, including brother Evan.
