James Kavanagh has been called up to represent the Republic of Ireland.
UCD AFC's under 19 centre back has been included in the Republic of Ireland under 19 squad that will compete in the European Championships in Portugal. The Oatlands Schoolboy has featured in the majority of UCD AFC's Under 19 Fixtures and has also made his mark on the UCD AFC First Team this season.
Ireland start their quest for European glory with an opening fixture against the Ukraine on Monday 28th of May. Hosts Portugal and Israel make up the rest of Group 4.
