Chris Mulhall is back with the Students for the 2012 Airtricity League campaign.

Chris Mulhall was part of the mass exodus of talent that left UCD AFC at the end of the 2010 season. Chris helped UCD gain promotion to the Premier Division, winning the First Division title in the 2009 season and played his part in ensuring the Students stayed in the top division of Irish football the following season. Economic conditions at the time meant that talented bunch of players was broken up and Chris joined Shelbourne in the close season.
"It was a difficult year last year for myself, obviously it was great to be involved with Shelbourne as we gained promotion and played in a Cup Final in the Aviva. But from my own point of view I wanted to play more football so it was clear I had a decision to make at the end of last season. I am delighted to be back with UCD and it has been great to get back training with this group of players."
Chris played over 60 times in his first spell with UCD and he is eager to add to his tally of 11 goals for the club come the new season.

Gary Burke has just completed his first week training with UCD AFC and he was eager to express his
excitement for the coming season. Gary has endured a tough couple of years in relation to first team opportunities and he is clearly raring to go with his new club. "Martin actually spoke to me last year in relation to coming to UCD but in the end I stayed where I was. To be honest I was delighted when he called again and I didn't think twice about signing on."
Burke feels the style of play preferred by the Students will suit his game and he is looking to make a name for himself in the UCD jersey. "Having seen the lads play last year and now having trained with them over the last week or so I am really looking forward to playing matches now. The style of play Martin encourages suits the way I play and I am already enjoying my first few sessions."
