McMillan departs and Ryan re-joins

After three very successful years with the club, Evan McMillan has unfortunately decided leave the club due to work commitments.SSE-Airtricity-League

Speaking on his departure, Collie O'Neill expressed his thanks to Evan for all his work over the last 3 years.

"I can't thank Evan enough for all his hard work and dedication to the job over the last 3 years. He is a top class, insightful coach who has helped develop and nurture a lot of the players at UCD."

Everyone at UCD would like to thank Evan for his dedication and commitment to the club over the last three years in his role as assistant manager for our first team, as well as during his successful playing career during which he was part of our First Division winning side in 2009. We would like to wish Evan the very best of luck with his future career.

Ian Ryan has agreed to re-join the club as our new assistant manager ahead of the new season. Ian left the club at the end of the 2016 season, after a successful season which saw him guide our under 19s side to the National League title.

Speaking on the appointment, Collie is looking forward to working with Ian once more.

"I'm happy to bring Ian on board, having worked with him before at UCD he already understands the running of the club, what we're about and how to work with younger players. He has a winning mentality and has a lot to offer the group."
