UCD AFC have drawn Athlone Town in the Leinster Senior Cup.
The draw for the first round of the Leinster Senior Cup has been made. UCD AFC will host Athlone Town in the UCD Bowl for their first competitive game of the 2012 season.
The date has yet to be set but UCD will be looking to avenge last year's defeat in the same competition. In that game Darren Meenan scored the only goal for the Students in a 2-1 defeat.
Last year's fixture was a good opportunity to mix in the more inexperienced players in the UCD AFC set up and no doubt this year's game will provide the same opportunity.
